The Labor Roundtable is honored once again to recognize an outstanding members of our community with the Philip Parker Public Service Award for Excellence!
This award was named after Philip Parker who was the chair of the Labor Roundtable from 2000 - 2014. Philip passed away in 2014 while in office.
This Award is only awarded to an individual or organization that has over the last year shown untiring effort in promoting, being dedicated to, and serving our community with not only integrity but also humility.
This award will be given out at our annal Labor Award Banquet which will be held at the Vancouver Hilton in September of each year!

Tyler Chavers, District 1 Neighborhood Police Officer, is reponsible for the neighborhoods of:
Arnada, Carter Park, Esther Short,
Fruit Valley, Hough, Lincoln,
Northwest, Rose Village, Shumway,
West Minnehaha.
Officer Chavers is the liaison to the citizens within his district and meets with neighbors to discuss crime issues, livabitity issues, and to answer questions about crime trands and prevention. He's the main contact person for a citizen within his district to go to when there are crime issues or other concerns that the police department can assist them with. He works cross departmentally as well to assist citizens with problem solving strategies as well. He's our "TOP COP" on the west side of town.
